MISSILE EJECTION UNIT
The AKU-170E missile ejection unit (MEU) is designed for external suspension, carriage and jettison (ejection) of the RVV-AE missile on MIG-29, Su-27, Su-30 type aircraft.

The AKU-170E missile ejection unit provides:
multiple missile suspension/dismounting without additional adjustments
forced missile release, preventing its yawing and rolling until separation
30-days launch capability without the missile’s dismounting and MEU’s additional checks/adjustments
Missile separation parameters:
Airspeed relative to the carrier – more than – 4 m/s
Pitch angle, angle degrees – from 2,0 up to 0
Pitch rate, angle degrees – from 10 up to 70
Forced track movement – about 100mm
